Information on Drinking Water Quality
Kerry County Council is required to monitor the quality of drinking water for all water supplies under its responsibility in accordance with the European Communities (Drinking Water) (No. 2) Regulations 2007 (S.I. No. 278 of 2007).
These regulations set out the parametric values against which all water services authorities (including Kerry County Council) must monitor the compliance with drinking water standards.
Kerry County Council is also required to establish and maintain up to date records of Drinking Water Monitoring Results and to make this information available to the public.
