Proposed Local Area Plan for the Listowel Functional Area
Kerry County Council intends to prepare a Draft Local Area Plan for the Listowel Functional Area which includes the settlements (and surrounding rural areas) listed below:

Proposed Local Area Plan for the Ballybunion Functional Area
Kerry County Council intends to prepare a Draft Local Area Plan for the Ballybunion Functional Area which includes the settlements (and surrounding rural areas) listed below:
Ballybunion Astee
The Local Area Plan will provide a framework for the development of the lands within the Plan area over the next number of years.A map of the proposed area is available for inspection at the Area Services Centres, Bridge Road, Listowel.“Have your say in the Development of your area!”
In accordance with Section 20 of the Planning & Development Act 2000 (as amended) Kerry County Council’s Planning Policy Unit would welcome observations or submissions from members of the public, children and/or groups representing children and any interest groups, prior to the preparation of the Draft Plan.
All submissions should be made in writing and addressed to Noell O’Connor, Planning Policy Unit, Planning Department, Kerry County Council, Áras an Chontae, Tralee clearly marked “Submission – Pre - Draft Local Area Plan for the Listowel & Ballybunion Functional Areas” to be received before 5.00 pm on Thursday 30th August 2012.
The Plan, when adopted, will replace the existing Local Area Plan for these settlements.
